The Position:

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer responsible for:

  • Contribute to planning, developing and coordinating of important engineering projects
  • Manage and direct the developing and interpreting of engineering data to perform calculations and generate construction/shop drawings
  • Uses advanced techniques and modified extension of theories to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
  • Utilize established code, project specifications and provisions from owners to analyze and prepare engineered drawings
  • Determines and develops own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives
  • Help manage and develop other engineering staff and interns
  • Works under limited supervision
  • Review work for accuracy and consistency with meeting overall objectives
  • Conduct site visits and pre-work consultations with owner representatives as required
  • Act as liaison with representatives outside of the assigned group/area
  • Performs other related duties as required

The Location:

  • Projects will vary by location throughout the local area, or the state, so reliable transportation and/or a willingness to travel to any job site is required as needed

The Candidate:

  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • Have the ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
  • Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Mechanical design, engineering theories and principles
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in WI. Licensed in adjacent states or ability to acquire through NCEES site preferred
