The Opportunity
We’re seeking a seasoned recruiter to support talent acquisition across construction, engineering, and skilled trades. You’ll help build a recruitment strategy from the ground up, partnering with hiring managers to attract top-tier professionals – from Structural Engineers and Project Superintendents to Equipment Operators, Carpenters, and Laborers. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical and skilled trade roles
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs and team dynamics
- Develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions across construction, engineering, and trades
- Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates through industry networks and trade associations
- Evaluate candidate qualifications, certifications, and experience for specialized roles
- Track recruitment metrics and report progress to stakeholders
- Support workforce planning with HR partners
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience
- Proven success in filling high volume and “hard to fill” positions
- Willingness to learn and adapt as needed
- Excellent communication and candidate engagement skills
Preferred:
- Experience with recruitment marketing and trade-specific job boards
- Strong understanding of trade certifications, union dynamics, and jobsite requirements
- Familiarity with labor market trends in construction and renewable energy
- Knowledge of technical terminology across engineering and field operations
