Northeast Asphalt, a Walbec Group company, is proud to be partnering with Robinson Inc., a leading Wisconsin metal fabrication company, on a major site expansion project that will support the company’s continued growth and operations.
The current phase of work encompasses approximately 5.25 acres, including 3.3 acres of new pavement and significant underground infrastructure improvements. At the heart of the project is one of the most significant storm sewer installations Northeast Asphalt has self-performed, featuring the largest diameter pipe the company has ever installed. The work showcases the expertise, coordination, and capabilities of our crews as they continue to take on increasingly complex infrastructure projects.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
- 506 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), including 345 linear feet of 54-inch diameter pipe
- 1,017 linear feet of PVC storm sewer
- Installation of 4 storm manholes
- Installation of 13 storm inlets
- Construction of an 8-foot diameter storm manhole
While much of this work will remain unseen once the project is complete, the underground infrastructure being installed is critical to managing stormwater, protecting the site, and supporting long-term operational success.
The scale of the storm sewer work presented unique challenges, requiring precise coordination, specialized equipment, and a highly skilled workforce. From setting massive sections of 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe to constructing an 8-foot diameter manhole, our team has delivered exceptional craftsmanship every step of the way.
Projects like this showcase Walbec’s ability to self-perform complex infrastructure work while helping local businesses invest in their future. We’re proud to support Robinson’s continued growth and look forward to seeing the completed site take shape in the months ahead.
